CAYA(Come As You Are):
In 2012, recognizing the unique challenges that first-generation youth face, one of our youth members, Meenu Mathews, laid the groundwork for a ministry meant for middle schoolers. Middle School Fellowship, or CAYA (Come As You Are) officially started in 2013. Middle school is a crucial time period for children growing up and develops a child’s character. Children of this age really need assistance in their difficult journey, and this ministry intends to provide it for them. This fellowship is designed to incorporate the specific problems that children are facing, such as bullying, peer-pressure, or fitting in as a Christian. This ministry is unique, because it allows the children to provide feedback and ideas, while encouraging them to take an active role in the church. In addition, it includes lots of games, music, food, and most importantly, fun! If you are the parent of a middle school student, please send your child to this ministry, so that we, as a church, can ensure that our next generation is encouraged to live a Christian lifestyle from a very young age.
