Funeral: Friday morning 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at our church
Interment 1:15 pm. Forest Hills Cemetery, Byberry Road.

Harvest Festival – Saturday, October 8 – 8 AM

Harvest Festival: is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, at our church from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Variety of Foods, Games, Auctions, and Entertainment Programs are planned. All families are encouraged to purchase a ticket to support this event and it will include breakfast for all family members. Breakfast includes Masala Dosa & Omelet. Lunch is Chicken/ Vegetable Biriyani. You will also be able to enjoy the entertainment programs as well.

Mr. Thomas C. Thomas was called to eternal rest – Jan 2, 2022

Mr. Thomas C. Thomas (Unni) #107, passed away this morning. At this time the Viewing and Funeral will take place in our Church on Friday, January 7th from 9:00 AM onwards. Details will be updated later once they are confirmed.

Mr. Joseph Varghese was called to eternal rest – November 18, 2021

Joseph Varghese (75) our former member and parish Secretary (multiple times) passed away in Houston. He is survived by his wife Marykutty Joseph and sons Jimmy & Joby and their families. Mr. Joseph’s hard work at the time of the reorganization was instrumental in the formation of our Parish. May God bless the departed soul and bereaved families.

Prayer Guardian – a Sunday School initiative was launched on 11/14/21

Prayer Guardian is a Sunday school initiative wherein a church member would pray for a specific child or two every day, for the rest of his/her life. Prayer guardian is based on the Christian principle – Pray for others (St. James 5:16).

Parish Reorganization Jubilee – October 24 2021

On Sunday, October 24, our parish is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of its Reorganization. HG Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, Diocesan Metropolitan is the chief guest. Services start at 8:00 am. All members are welcome to attend the Holy Qurbana and the public meeting that will be held immediately afterwards. Please continue to wear mask, and practice physical distancing. Boxed lunch will be provided to all attendees and please use the signup link posted in our groups.

Mrs. Bessie A. Mathew was called to eternal rest – October 11, 2021

In the hope of the resurrected Lord we deeply regret to inform you of the passing away of our former member Mrs. Bessie Jiji Mathew today, October 11, 2021. Immediate family includes her husband Mr. Jiji Mathew, her daughter Rebekah and son Ezra. They are currently members of St. Luke’s Orthodox Church and Jiji’s parents, Mathew M. George and Annamma are members of our Parish.

She has been very active in our community, owner of a melodious voice and has sung for many Indian Orthodox Weddings, the latest being at one of our weddings last week. Her untimely departure leaves all of us with heavy heart; let us pray for the departed soul and keep the bereaving family in our prayers.

Mrs. Podiyamma Cherian was called to eternal rest- August 24, 2021

In the hope of the resurrected Lord we deeply regret to inform you of the passing away of our member Mrs. Podiyamma Cherian (68) today, August 24, 2021. Immediate family includes her husband Mr. Cherian Philipose, son Suresh Cherian, daughter-in-law Sharon Cherian, and grandson Noah Cherian.
Mrs. Podiyamma’s older sister Mrs. Kunjamma Thomas and brother Mr. Thankachan K Mathai also are members of our parish. Another sister Mrs. Marykutty Joseph, a former member of our parish lives in Texas. Let’s pray for the departed soul and keep the bereaving family in our prayers.

In the hope of the resurrected Lord, we deeply regret to inform you of the falling asleep of our member Mr. Mathew Varghese today, August 9. He was 76. His beloved family includes his wife Mrs. Annamma Mathew, son Mr. Saji Mathew, daughter-in-law Mrs. Sibil Mathew, grandchildren Andrew and Priscilla, and daughter Ms. Suja Mathew.
