Mr. Alex Daniel Passes on: Mr. Alex Daniel who lived in Collegeville, a member of our parish passed away on Wednesday evening on August 29th. Mr. Alex Daniel and family moved to Texas about a month ago. He was ill for prolonged time.
His service to the parish was exemplary. As a member of the Managing Committee several times and serving the parish at different capacities, we lost a very good friend. His wife Susan Alex (Kunjumol), son Diboo, daughter Priya and families are in our prayers.May the Lord give him eternal memory and solace.
Weekend Updates
1) Saturday (9/1)-
St. Mary’s Nativity Fast Begins (9/1 – 9/8)
Prayer Meeting- 7pm at our Church
2) Sunday (9/2)- Holy Qurbana will be celebrated in English:
Sunday School is back in session! All students please report to their respective general sessions immediately after refreshments..
Men’s Forum, MMVS, & OCYM will all have meetings after refreshments
School Supply Drive- All the school supplies collected will be given to the underprivileged kids in the area. Please bring any school supplies for donation including books, pencils, pens, markers, school bags etc., and drop it off in the box placed in the entrance. This is the last Sunday for collection.
OCYM: New Bible lessons are taught at OCYM meetings on Sundays. Acts of the Apostles will be taught with video class from next Sunday onward.
3) Holy Qurbana on Friday evening (9/7); No Holy Qurbana on Wednesday but evening prayer will be conducted at 7 p.m.
